You attended Oakfields College and did a full time course with us. What course did you study and what was your favourite subject in that course?
I studied film, television and production at Oakfields College and my favourite subject was editing
What are you currently doing now and is this profession the one you studied towards?
I am currently a video production manager for a global company in Berlin Germany and yes this is directly related to what I studied.
The companies name that I currently work for is AdJust and I have been working for them for a few months now.
Previously I worked as the Head of Videography for a company called ZCMC and I worked there for about a year and 8 months.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I love having the opportunity to travel the world to places such as New York and Beijing and shooting video in these places.
What advice would you give students studying the same course that you did?
Don’t lose hope and be willing to start at the bottom. Being humble in your profession also makes a huge difference in the industry.
What is your definition of “happiness”?
If you love what you do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life.
What are the main lessons you have learnt since you have started working?
Never be afraid of doing the work no one else wants to do. Putting in the extra time and pushing out extra work will be noticed. Always stay humble and be a yes man/woman.
If you could meet any famous person, who would it be and why?
It would have to be Thierry Henry. He is one of my icons and my favourite football player.
